WellFamily

Trust & Verification

Entrusting a loved one’s care to a stranger is not an easy decision. This page explains transparently which safeguards every profile and every transaction goes through.

How does a profile go live?

1

Registration and declaration

The caregiver or doctor registers with identity, experience, skills/specialties and contact details. Incomplete profiles are not listed.

2

Document upload

Diplomas, specialty certificates and insurance documents are stored in a secure, encrypted area; only the verification team can see them.

3

Review

The verification team reviews documents and the profile within 24 hours. An unapproved profile never goes live.

4

Badges and ongoing monitoring

Approved profiles carry badges; reviews and reports are moderated regularly.

How are payments protected?

Engagements and payments happen in the WellFamily app; the amount is held in platform escrow until the service is completed. Sending an appointment request is always free.

Are the reviews real?

Only users with a completed appointment or engagement with that professional can leave a review — the system enforces this technically. Inappropriate reviews are moderated.

Your data and consent

Location and health data are processed only with explicit consent; professionals are listed in the marketplace only with their own consent and can turn visibility off any time. Details are in the privacy notice.

How are partner institutions verified?

Hospitals and clinics join only through an organization record created by our team; their physicians are not listed on the hospital page until membership is approved by the coordinator or WellFamily. A physician’s access to your patient is always limited to the consent you grant in the mobile app — the institution cannot see any data you have not consented to.
