Frequently asked questions
Is registration paid?
No. Registration, verification and listing are completely free.
Do you take a commission?
No. We take no cut from the rate you agree with the family; the amount is paid to you.
Who sets my rate?
You do. You set your hourly rate in your profile and update it whenever you like.
How do I get paid?
Preregistration requires no payment. In-app payments are not currently offered; available features will be explained at launch.
Is a criminal record certificate required?
It is not mandatory; if you provide one it is marked on your profile as a trust signal and families are more likely to choose you.
How long does verification take?
Identity and document review is usually completed during the review process. Your profile is not listed on the marketplace until it is approved.
Which of my details are visible to families?
Your name, city/district, skills, languages, experience, rate and rating are visible. Your phone number and reference contact details are never public; messaging runs through the app.
What if I do not find work?
The more complete your profile, the higher you appear in the list — a photo, an introduction video and a verified reference make the biggest difference. You are notified when a new care listing opens in your city.
How do I remove my profile?
You can switch off marketplace visibility from your account or delete your account entirely; a deletion request is concluded within 30 days at the latest.
Can I apply without a certificate?
Yes. A certificate builds trust but is not required; a concrete description of your experience and your references also weigh heavily in families’ decisions. In Türkiye, Public Education Centres (Halk Eğitim Merkezleri) run patient and elderly care courses.
Will I be expected to carry out medical procedures?
No. Injections, drips and wound dressings are the responsibility of health professionals. You only tick the skills you genuinely have, and we recommend agreeing the scope of the role with the family from the start.
How are rest hours and days off set for live-in work?
You agree them directly with the family. We recommend putting rest hours, days off and personal space in writing before you start; our live-in agreement guide lists the points to cover.
Can I publish articles on the blog?
Yes. You can submit articles from the “Content & Listings” tab in your account; after editorial approval they are published under your name and increase your visibility.
